Getting started on Instagram as a therapist can feel SO uncomfortable.
I hear this allll the time in my DMS. Putting yourself out there feels scary, overwhelming, and just plain awkward.
Sound like you? Trust me - I get it. It’s very normal, and you are NOT alone in feeling this way!
But this also shouldn’t hold you back from getting started on Instagram.
In today's episode, I'm talking about starting on Instagram when it feels uncomfortable.
Sure, it may seem easier to wait until you feel "ready" to post.
Truthfully, though? That moment may never come!
The hardest part is STARTING. Once you make that first post and learn to do it consistently, it really does get easier (and not so scary)!
And no, your first post needs to be "perfect" either. You don't need to put that kind of pressure on yourself!
Perfectionism is the biggest trap I see therapists fall into. You don't need perfect graphics or a flawless strategy when you're just starting.
So, what do you need to do? Show up authentically and be the REAL human your audience wants to see behind the therapy practice!
Sharing content that's a little unpolished or messy will help you connect MORE deeply. This will build trust with your community (and future clients)!

I've even got a special gift for you (if you need a little push to get started). DM me IDEAS62 @businessoftherapy on Instagram and I'll send you this week's Reels Membership email - totally FREE!
It's time to rip off the band-aid, impact more people, and grow your business. You can do it!!
