I’m excited to welcome Sarra Lashhab to the podcast today!
Sarra is a trauma therapist based in Florida and the owner of Healing Loudly. She specializes in helping survivors of sexual violence (a deeply important and often “taboo” topic on social media).
Since Sarra was 15 years old, she’s been a part of the movement against sexual violence. During her teenage years, she volunteered with a local rape crisis center, which was when her passion for helping people heal from trauma started.
For the past 10 years, she has been working in clinical mental health settings. Her favorite part about being a therapist is seeing people regain their lives. Sarra has dedicated years of her training to empowering people who have experienced trauma. She wants to help survivors know they are believed, supported, and that their voice matters!
In today’s episode, we’re chatting about how to get clients from Instagram with a small following.
Sarra started out in community mental health. Now, she’s built a FULL private practice with less than 1,000 followers on Instagram!
She is proof that you don’t need a massive audience to create impact and income. You just need to show up with clarity, consistency, AND a heart to help your people!
Instagram is one of Sarra’s biggest referral sources now. She loves creating a variety of content that helps more people find her (hellllo SEO!) + validates and encourages them.
She’s also been a part of the Reels Membership. This has allowed her to create content effectively + implement, so she continues building connections on Instagram!
Sarra has totally redefined success on social media. She no longer feels intimidated to show up there, but instead, empowered to educate and connect with her community!
She does an amazing job of focusing on service and purpose over perfection or virality.
Sarra’s story is a beautiful reminder: choose to show up authentically and consistently for your people, and watch EVERYTHING expand!!
