Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m a licensed therapist, specializing in helping millennial women and teens overcome anxiety. I built my private practice totally on Instagram @sitwithkelly and I ended up earning $250,000 my first year.
Since then, I started working with other therapists, helping them to find their voice online and grow thriving private practices.
I believe that every therapist is capable of starting their own private practice and building a business that allows you to live a meaningful, fulfilling, and financially abundant life.

March 2020
Started working at a group practice in the evenings. The pandemic hit 1 day later, so I left the office and never went back.
October 2020
Started my @sitwithkelly Instagram account and began posting content for high-achieving millennials with anxiety.
January 2021
Got my first private pay client from Instagram, 3 months into creating content consistently.
February 2021
Quit my job in nonprofit management and went full-time in my practice.
March 2021
I told my clients I was getting off insurance panels and switching to private pay only.
June 2021
Hit a full caseload of all private pay clients paying me $250 per session.
December 2021
Made $250,000 after my first full year in private practice, end of 2021.
March 2022
Was featured in Business Insider for making $250k as a private practice therapist.
December 2022
Went all in on Business of Therapy, teaching other therapists to market their practice on IG.
December 2022
Earned $352,616 my second full year in business through private practice and scaling efforts.
September 2023
Passed $1 million in total revenue created through private practice, scaling, and educating.

Hit $712,502 in revenue for the year, more than doubling from the year before.
