Why Social Media Feels So Overwhelming Right Now [episode 52]

Let’s be real - posting on Instagram consistently is a LOT.

It’s basically an (additional) full-time job!

As a therapist, you’re already seeing a full caseload. You’re handling documentation,

coordinating care, and still trying to be a human outside of work.

Then you remember it’s been five days since your last post. UGH.

It’s no freaking wonder social media feels so overwhelming!

Here’s the thing, though: I want you to know how marketing actually works for therapists.

The idea that you just need more motivation or confidence to be consistent is a complete LIE!

In today's episode, I'm diving into why social media feels so overwhelming right now.

Honestly, Instagram content takes TIME. Whether you've been doing this a while or you're brand new to social media, it's going to take you more time than you think!

It takes energy and strategy. If no one's ever walked you through how to make this all feel doable, you're not alone.

Most therapists are juggling everything SOLO. They're creating content late at night after a full day of clients. They're cramming it in, in between client sessions.

Either way, it's not effective OR sustainable!

This is a huge reason why I created the Reels Membership: to give you a system.

You don't need more pressure - you need a PLAN.

With the membership, you'll get 4 weekly reel prompts, fill-in-the-blank scripts, filming tips, and more. You'll see real examples from REAL therapists!

You're never staring at a blank screen again, wondering "what in the heck do I post this week?!"

I built this to help you show up consistently AND gain more confidence with each step!

Showing up is a skill. The more you do it with support, the easier it gets.

No… you're not "bad" at marketing. You're not lazy or unmotivated. You're running an amazing business, and it's time you realized you don't have to conquer Instagram alone!!

In this episode, Why Social Media Feels So Overwhelming Right Now, I cover:

  • The real time commitment it takes to be consistent on Instagram

  • Step-by-step breakdown of what goes into creating a reel

  • Common Instagram myths therapists need to stop believing

  • Why showing up is a skill & not something you’re just “naturally” good at

  • How the Reels Membership gives you a system for sustainable consistency
