Let’s be real - some days, you just don’t have the energy to show up on Instagram.

Whether you're feeling anxious, not loving how you look, or life is just ‘lifeing’, getting on Instagram can feel like a BIG ask.

I’ve experienced this recently as I’m pregnant with my first baby, so trust me - I GET it!

As a therapist (and especially if you’re running a private practice), those low-energy days are totally NORMAL.

Thankfully, you don’t have to show up perfectly to market your therapy practice!

Content creation doesn’t have to be hard, even on your ‘hard’ days. You can stay visible, support your business, and most importantly, still take care of YOU.

In today’s episode, I’m diving into low-effort Instagram strategies for therapists.

When it comes to showing up on Instagram, consistency matters WAY more than perfection.

Of course, I want you to be thoughtful about what you’re posting!

But…frequency and message consistency are the key factors here.

Not every post needs to be flawless, or go viral! I DO want you to keep showing up though - don’t skip posting all together.

It’s totally okay to show up ‘imperfectly’ too, regardless of what types of posts you’re sharing! Honestly…these are the ones your audience is going to LOVE + resonate with the most.

I personally love repurposing my old content (like carousel posts) on my low-energy days. You can also share screenshots from your notes app, use B-roll for reels, and even polls or question boxes in your Instagram stories.

All of these low-effort strategies will continue building loyalty and engagement with your audience (especially when you’re just not feelin’ it)!

I recommend planning ahead as much as possible, because these low-energy days are inevitable.

And you know what? If you need to take a break, THAT’S okay, too!

You’re not a failure if you choose to rest over growing your Instagram account. Give yourself permission to be consistent AND flexible!
