Do you ever feel like Instagram is taking over your life??

You’re constantly juggling clients, content creation, family time, and everything in between.

If this sounds familiar, you’re NOT alone!

Boundaries are super important with Instagram, but TBH - that’s something I struggled with early on. It felt exciting and lit me up, but also...really HARD.

Four years later, I’ve mastered boundaries with Instagram. It’s not an energy drain, or leading me to constant burnout.

I truly believe this is why I’ve been able to stay so consistent with not only one, but TWO accounts. I’m here to show you that it’s possible to manage your time and energy on Instagram while growing your business, too!

In today’s episode, I’m talking about how to set better boundaries with Instagram.

There seem to be several common challenges that therapists face with Instagram. One of the biggest struggles is the pressure to create content. It feels like the never-ending hamster wheel, right?!

Social media itself can feel crazy and overwhelming - especially when you’re new to showing up online.

You know by now that I LOVE Instagram, but it can really do us a big disservice. I think it’s great to showcase your wins and be as transparent as possible (I do this with my monthly income reports).

But…sometimes that compelling, attention-grabbing content you see from other creators feels sooo out of reach. You’re stuck comparing and feeling discouraged before you even start!

Time constraints can be another challenge with Instagram. Whether you’re working another full-time job or have a full client caseload, you don't have all the time in the world to devote to Instagram.

It’s important to restructure what you can in your day-to-day. Stay consistent with what works for YOU in your current season of life!

Thankfully, setting practical boundaries with Instagram is totally possible. Things like time blocking, content batching, outsourcing & delegation, and even prioritizing regular ‘downtime’ can be SUCH a gamechanger!

It’s VITAL that you have clear, specific boundaries with Instagram. You don’t need to get sucked into the app, constantly scrolling and consuming. This is doing nothing beneficial for your business!

Ultimately, I want you to create content in a way that is manageable & sustainable. You should be able to grow your business on Instagram for the long-term, and in a way that’s FUN!

I’d love to know a boundary that you’re taking from this episode, and how you’re going to implement it. As always, I’m cheering you on!!
