I’m super excited to welcome Liana Ross onto the podcast today!

Liana Ross is an LMHC-D in New York with about a decade of experience. She is trained in EMDR and specializes in childhood/relationship trauma, addiction, disordered eating, and relationships.

She's the clinical director at Gooding Wellness, a private pay group practice based in Long Island. She is also a co-host of the Long Island therapist meet ups that have grown quickly in the past year!

When I think of relatability, reels, and RHONY (because she’s a huge reality TV fan), Liana is the person who comes to mind! She brings a fun, lighthearted energy to Instagram, even though she digs into pretty serious topics.

In today’s episode, Liana and I chat about relatability, reels, and RHONY.

Liana isn’t brand new to Instagram. She originally started with sharing more health and fitness content, until she made the decision to focus on her therapy account.

Liana eventually discovered my page, and she joined Reels Membership. This was a HUGE turning point for her in her business!

She was ready to niche down and *actually* understand how Instagram could help her, instead of continuing to throw spaghetti at the wall.

Instead of sticking to boring and generic mental health quotes, Liana has gotten super specific in her messaging. She is crystal clear on her niche, and connects well with people needing support with childhood and relationship trauma.

Even though Liana now gains most of her clients from Instagram, she still gets clients OUTSIDE of social media, too. She’s built genuine relationships with other therapists online, which has led to referrals, networking, and more incredible opportunities!

Liana doesn’t overthink her content with Instagram. While she loves educating her community, she still incorporates HER unique personality into the mix.

Content creation doesn’t have to take a ton of time or energy. It should be something that lights you up + fits your season of life, so you CAN stay consistent with showing up!

Liana is super relatable and down-to-earth. She’s done an AMAZING job at showing what’s possible when you consistently put yourself out there as a therapist. I know you’re going to love this episode!!
