It’s Thanksgiving week in the U.S., which feels like the perfect moment to slow down and really sit in gratitude.

Building a business is no small thing. It comes with bumps, pivots, growing pains, and sooo much more.

But it’s also one of THE most meaningful and empowering journeys you’ll ever take!

My hope is that you feel grateful for your business now. If you’re not quite there, I hope this episode gets you even MORE lit up by what’s possible!

In today's episode, I'm talking about building a business you're actually grateful for.

For years, I was grateful for my clients, but not necessarily grateful to be a therapist.

Everything shifted when I built a business around MY needs, values, energy, and joy. Gratitude became my baseline!

Building a business you're truly grateful for is a radical act, especially as a woman and a therapist.

You're saying "no thanks" to old expectations and "hell yes" to what actually serves you. You're charging your worth, shaping your schedule, and taking time off.

You're creating a life that feels like a true GIFT!

If you're not lit the F up by your business just yet, it's time to dream a little bigger.

I want you to visualize your life a year from now (Thanksgiving 2026). Picture how you spend your time, and who you're surrounded by.

What does your work look like? What brings you joy outside the therapy room?

Wherever you are today, you should be proud of the steps you've taken. I hope you're inspired to keep walking toward the vision that's waiting for YOU.

If you're up for it, I'd LOVE to hear what came up for you and celebrate your journey. Happy Thanksgiving, friend!

In this episode, Building a Business You’re Actually Grateful For, I cover:

  • Why building a business you’re grateful for is a radical act

  • Why aligning your practice with your own needs, values & joy changes everything

  • Big-picture visualization to dream big + clarify what you want by next Thanksgiving

  • How my first visualization felt scary, but later became my reality

  • Encouragement to celebrate your progress + move toward your future vision
