If you’ve been posting on Instagram, but not seeing the followers (or clients) you want, it might be time for an audit.
Nope, I’m not talking about the “scary” IRS kind either! We’re talking the fun, action-packed kind that actually gets you results.
And don’t forget to grab your phone and pull up YOUR Instagram profile as you’re listening, too!
In today's episode, I'm sharing how to audit your therapy Instagram to get more followers & clients.
First stop: your profile. Your bio, profile photo, AND name field are prime real estate. Your photo should be bright, inviting, and easy to see!
Make sure you're packing your name field with keywords your ideal clients are using, too. This is the *only* searchable part of your bio, so make it count!
Your Instagram bio itself? Keep it crystal clear.
When someone lands on your page, they should instantly know who you help and how you help them. They for SURE need to know how they can work with you, so you need to have a direct CTA!
All of this will give them a good reason to hit that "follow" button (or… they'll just keep scrolling).
The next important piece: your Instagram content.
Are you posting with your ideal client in mind? Every post should either position you as the go-to expert, validate their struggles, or show them exactly how you can help.
Use clear language that your clients actually use, and tell them their next step (over and over again). You won't be a broken record - I promise!
You can mix in reels, carousels, and stories (variety is always good here).
Don't forget to pin your best, MOST relatable posts to the top of your page!
Consistency matters (like I always say). Your audience should know they can count on you, and should be seeing your content regularly so they get to know you!
You don't need thousands and thousands of Instagram followers to have a thriving practice.
You DO need clarity, consistency, and a plan.
All of this is exactly what we do inside PPA. I'd love to have you in there, and as always, I'm cheering you on!!
