If you've ever frozen up mid-session thinking "how do I say this?!" today's episode is for you!

Maybe you need to raise your rates or end therapy with a long-term client.

Maybe you need to turn someone away who just isn't the "right" fit.

Either way, these convos can be TOUGH!

It's even harder when you're in private practice and don't have a supervisor close by to run it by.

You're definitely not alone, and you're NOT a bad therapist for needing help with this!

In today's episode, I'm sharing scripts for the hard conversations as a therapist in private practice.

I personally looove scripts like these. They’re not robotic or cookie-cutter, and can be SO helpful in serving as a guide for these tricky conversations!

One of the biggest hurdles that many therapists face is raising their rates. It’s totally possible to do this with clarity, kindness, and confidence, though.

And no…you don’t have to ramble or over-explain. This is YOUR business and life. You’re allowed to raise your rates and feel really good about it!

You may also need help with clients who cancel, no-show, or treat therapy like a “chit-chat session” more than anything else.

You’re probably going to need to adjust your schedule along the way. Chances are, you’re going to feel a little guilty about telling your clients this.

Whatever scenario(s) you’re facing in private practice, these scripts for hard conversations will help you!

If you need additional support, I’ve got you covered in PPA. We’ll go even deeper with scripts, templates, live support, and more.

I’d love to know if this episode is valuable for you, and would be happy to do more like it!!

In this episode, Scripts for the Hard Conversations as a Therapist in Private Practice, I cover:
