A question I get asked super often is ‘should you list your therapy rates on your website’?
In short - the answer is YES!
But…I want to dive deeper into WHY I believe this is important.
I understand you may not want to do this (like really not want to). I very much relate, because I did NOT want to do this either!
When I left my nonprofit career to go full-time in my private practice, I was MORTIFIED to list my therapy rates on my website.
Yep - I *almost* took my rates off of my website because I was sooo worried about what others would think of me.
Thankfully, I chose to keep my rates on my website, and I believe you should, too!
In today’s episode, I’m diving into the topic of ‘should you list your therapy rates on your website’.
One of the biggest things holding you back may be you thinking your rates are ‘too expensive’. For some reason, you assume that people will see your therapy rates, and they won’t be able to afford your services.
Of course, there will be some people who think this. But guess what…they’re not YOUR people!
There will be plenty of people who see your rate, and they’ll have no problem paying it. They’ll see the value in you and how you can help them, so it’s a no-brainer for them!
I recommend getting super clear on how many clients you *actually* need to have a full caseload. You don’t need to be affordable for every.single.person in your state!
I promise - it’s TOTALLY doable to find clients who value your services and are happy to pay your rate.
TBH - if you’re choosing to not list your therapy rates on your website, you’re pretty much working against yourself. Potential clients are counting themselves out right away because they have no clue WHAT your rates are!
Clearly listing your rates on your website communicates your expertise and value. You’re going to call in MORE of your ideal client. They’ll know that YOU are the one who can help them with ‘XYZ’, because of your confidence and professionalism!
Choose to surround yourself with others who are happily charging premium rates. They’re not going to judge you - they’re going to hype you UP!
I hope this episode gives you the confidence you need to charge the rate that YOU want, and you know you deserve. Okay, now go list your therapy rates on your website - your future clients will thank you!!
