I can’t believe it, but…

We’ve made it to the 100th episode of The Business of Therapy podcast!!

TBH – hitting this milestone feels surreal. I’m sooo grateful for every single download, share, review, and listener who has been part of this journey!

To celebrate, I want to talk about something I believe is more important than ever for therapists: being on Instagram.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing WHY every therapist needs to be on Instagram in 2026.

Believe me – I know social media can feel overwhelming. But the reality is that our clients are already spending hours each day online!

Whether someone discovers you through Google, a referral, or your website, there’s a good chance they’ll head to Instagram next.

Instagram has become one of THE most powerful ways to build visibility and trust as a therapist.

They want to learn more about YOU and get a feel for your personality. They want to see if they connect with your approach.

Also? Relationship-building matters more than EVER now.

While technology and AI continue to evolve, people still crave genuine human connection!

Instagram gives you the opportunity to share your perspective and showcase your expertise. It helps potential clients understand what it’s actually like to work with you.

When people feel connected to you before they ever reach out, they’re more likely to take that next step!

Beyond attracting clients, learning how to market yourself creates sooo many options.

Maybe you want to grow a private-pay practice or launch a course. Maybe you want to book speaking engagements or brand deals.

Whatever your goals are for your business, marketing is a skill that will serve you for YEARS to come. Marketing is not optional – it’s part of being a business owner!

If you’re ready to grow your private practice with Instagram AND make content creation a bit easier, I’d love to support you inside PPA or Reels Membership.

And if you haven’t started on Instagram yet? Take this episode as your sign to DO the dang thing. It will be so worth it. I’m cheering you on, always!!
