I can’t believe it, but my podcast is officially LIVE, and I’m so excited to be sharing my very first episode with you today!
I have several reasons for wanting to start this podcast, but honestly, one of the biggest ones is to give you the opportunity to get to know me better. I love hanging out on Instagram, and while I aim to be as transparent and authentic as possible there, I was craving another place that would allow me to go even more in depth. I really want to show you what’s possible as a therapist, and give you the courage to take action on your goals and dreams. I believe that EVERY single therapist should be making 6+ figures in their practice - that’s my personal mission, and since helping hundreds of therapists do just that, I know it’s 100% possible!
In today’s episode, I’m discussing what my career path to becoming a million dollar Instagram therapist looked like, and the many ups and downs I experienced along the way. I was very much the high-achieving, go-getter student who didn’t settle for anything less than all A’s. I was also the oldest child who was great at keeping the peace between her family members - anyone else relate?!
Therapy was always on my radar though, and it’s the career path I knew I wanted to pursue. However, becoming a therapist wasn’t my first (or only) career - I actually worked in management in the nonprofit space for several years, but eventually, I found my way back to direct clinical work in the therapy space. I’ll also be sharing more about my decision to start my own private practice and the significant role Instagram played in me successfully doing so, how I support other therapists, and more.
Now, my main focus is helping and coaching therapists to continue growing on Instagram; I want them to make that mind-blowing income without taking on a million clients, or reaching burnout. I know how vital the marketing piece is, because it’s totally changed every aspect of my business and life - it’s also something you can learn to do well, no matter what stage of business you’re in.
I have chosen to do the scary, brave stuff on my journey, and while it hasn’t always been smooth sailing, it has brought me the results (and the life) I desired. I hope my story encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and take big, bold moves, regardless of where you are with your therapy practice!
