As of today, I’m 81 episodes into podcasting!

I wanted to pull back the curtain on what this journey has actually looked like.

Since launching in August 2024, the podcast has reached over 61k downloads and generated $82,500 directly tied to the show. Pretty freaking cool!!

Beyond the numbers, though? It has deepened trust with my audience, sparked meaningful conversations, and supported consistent enrollment in my offers, like Reels Membership and PPA.

Podcasting has been powerful, but only because it was started at the RIGHT time.

In today's episode, I'm talking about how, when, & why to start a podcast.

A podcast can be an incredible way to scale your business. But it can also become a massive time suck if you jump in too early!

For me, I knew I needed to have a full caseload and an established Instagram presence.

I also knew I needed to have the capacity to outsource the backend and have solid team support in place.

Podcasting was never meant to fill my caseload (and no, it’s not meant to fill yours). It was meant to support and deepen the audience I already had!

Of course, your “why” for your podcast is super important. For me, I wanted a space to go deeper than Instagram (yep - go beyond the highlight reel we often see there).

I wanted a place to talk honestly about the “messy middle” of business, lessons learned, and the realities of scaling.

You also want to be highly niched when you’re starting your podcast. Your podcast niche should definitely line up with your Instagram niche!

Podcasting can absolutely support scaling when it’s integrated into a solid marketing system. But it’s got to be aligned with your season, energy, and goals, too.

Podcasting works best when it supports an already strong foundation. If your caseload is full and you’re confident marketing your work, podcasting can be an INCREDIBLE next step to deepen trust and scale sustainably!

If you’re curious about starting a podcast, please let me know. I’d LOVE to support you and cheer you on with this journey!!
