There's this myth out there that if you want to get more therapy clients, you have to do more work…right?

Maybe you think you need to post more on Instagram, or write more blogs. Maybe you believe running more ads or attending more networking events will lead you to more clients.

For most of us, this list goes on and ON!

But…what if I told you there was something unexpected you could do, that would actually make it EASIER to get clients? And...you would be working LESS, not more!

In today’s episode, I’m talking about the unexpected thing that will get you more clients in your therapy business.

That thing is…raising your rates!

I know, I know - you’re probably thinking it will be harder to get clients if you’re charging more. Believe me - I used to think this when I first started my private practice.

One factor that is super important to consider is the psychology of pricing. Charging a higher rate can signal your value and expertise to potential clients. This really sends the message that you ARE the expert in your field.

You’re invested in your education and training. You have a specialized skillset that warrants a higher investment.

You’re not taking on anyone and everyone, or seeing a bajillion of clients each week. You’re going to provide high-quality care to select clients that you carefully choose, because you are the BEST of the best!

In order for this to be effective though, you’ve GOT to have solid marketing!

It’s crucial that you know your niche - specificity is key here. Your content should be speaking directly to your ideal clients across ALL of your marketing platforms.

Whether it’s your website, Instagram, or anywhere else you’re marketing yourself, it should be cohesive + professional. That’s not to say you have to be an ‘expert’ in every aspect of your work. But…you should be an expert in helping YOUR ideal client!

Honestly…charging a higher rate can make your marketing SOOO much easier.

You’re instilling confidence in the clients who choose to work with you. Your clients are more committed, because they’re paying $250+/session. They’re READY to do the work!

You can see less clients, earn more money, and *finally* create that amazing work-life balance I know you’re craving.

I hope this episode reshapes the way you think about what you’re charging. It’s time to give yourself a raise - you deserve it, friend!!
