As of today, I’m 81 episodes into podcasting!
I wanted to pull back the curtain on what this journey has actually looked like.
Since launching in August 2024, the podcast has reached more than 61,000 downloads and generated $82,500 directly tied to the show. Pretty freaking cool!!
Beyond the numbers, though, it has deepened trust with my audience, sparked meaningful conversations, and supported consistent enrollment in my offers like Reels Membership and PPA.
Podcasting has been powerful, but only because it was started at the RIGHT time.
In today’s episode, I’m talking about how, when, and why to start a podcast.
A podcast can be an incredible way to scale your business. But it can also become a massive time suck if you jump in too early!
For me, I knew I needed to have a full caseload, an established Instagram presence, and the capacity to outsource the backend with solid team support.
Podcasting was never meant to fill my caseload, and it’s not meant to fill yours either. It was designed to support and deepen the audience I had already built.
Your “why” matters just as much as your timing. I wanted a place to go deeper than Instagram and move beyond the highlight reel.
I wanted a space to have honest conversations about the messy middle of business, the lessons I’ve learned, and what scaling actually looks like.
You also want your podcast to be highly niched. Ideally, your podcast niche should line up with your Instagram niche so your messaging stays consistent everywhere.
Podcasting can absolutely help you scale when it becomes part of a strong marketing system. But it also has to fit your season of life, your energy, and your goals.
Podcasting works best when it’s built on top of an already strong foundation. If your caseload is full and you’re confident marketing your work, a podcast can be an incredible next step to deepen trust and scale sustainably.
If you’re thinking about starting a podcast, let me know. I’d LOVE to support you and cheer you on through the process!
