I’m excited to welcome Halle Guidi to the podcast today!
Halle Guidi is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Los Angeles who provides telehealth therapy to adults across the state of California. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing high-functioning anxiety, as well as trauma and grief that may contribute to persistent stress, emotional disconnection, or feeling stuck despite outward success.
At Quiet Current Wellness, she offers therapy that blends evidence-based psychology with deep self-exploration so her clients can feel more grounded, clear, and aligned with their lives.
Halle is joining us in the middle of her private practice journey, which is exactly why I wanted you to hear her story!
She started building her practice on the side while working 40-55 hours a week at her full-time job. Halle went completely on her own in January and recently made the leap into full-time private practice.
Now? She’s approaching $10K months with a mostly private-pay caseload. Yep – ALL before officially launching her website or Instagram!
In today’s episode, we’re talking about achieving ~$10k months with no website or Instagram as a therapist.
So, how the heck did Halle do this? She focused on becoming an incredible clinician and built genuine relationships along the way!
Around 95% of her initial private practice clients had previously worked with her in another setting. Halle intentionally built connections with other clinicians who became referral sources.
Halle shares when it was finally time to leave her full-time job. Of course, that meant getting comfortable with the financial uncertainty of entrepreneurship + setting a session fee that supports her business.
And yes, making that leap may never feel 100% comfortable (and that’s totally okay)!
What’s next for Halle? She’s excited to launch her website and find her voice on social media. Eventually, she hopes to create a larger wellness space that brings multiple types of support together!
For Halle, PPA helped her build confidence and work through the business pieces that felt unfamiliar. She chose to take action (even when life didn’t go according to her plan).
Her story is SUCH a good reminder that you don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to start.
Build the skills, and build the relationships. Take the next step, and the rest (like those $10k months) will come as you grow!
